Chrome tan is just the tanning process. The suede is from the split.

Is it true split suede, or rough out? It's a stupid good-looking jacket. Everything fits me but the shoulders... Someone pick this up already!

I thought chrome tanned was the tanning process on leathers that makes them more water proof. The more shiny water repellent kinda.. does water soak in immediately or does it bead off?

The beautiful suede jacket "the boxer" by double helix is inspired by the lee suede trucker jacket, which once wore sylvester stallone as rocky, which also explains the name boxer. the jacket is made in japan from a 0.8 mm thick, wonderfully soft, french horse leather, which has been treated with a water-repellent finish to protect against rain. the high density of the horse leather gives the jacket a special shine and depth, and depending on the light fall a slightly different color. simply a great jacket that only becomes more beautiful and beautiful with increasing wearing time.
