Thanks guys. It’s a hat that always feels special to wear.
The tie clip was a very unique design and I had to grab it right up when I saw it. I wasn’t sure how it would mesh up on a hat… but it worked out nicely I was inspired by Fruno’s Reddy pin along with A few others

Our century old hats stood up well! It’s always amazed me that these things can do so well over that much time. Especially the leather sweats. Makes ya wonder how much longer they’ll last.

Am I early? Where's Stefan and hats of the week? This Susquehana hat was one of my first fedoras. Susquehana are now part of Gamble & Gunn, bespoke hat makers. They are responsible for damaging my wealth.
Off to church later, then afterwards, I shall take my lady out to Sunday lunch.
It's been difficult getting a table due to it being Father's day today. How lucky was I to get into Holmsley?
Holmsley Station became derelict following closure of the line. But today it thrives as a restaurant come tea rooms.

Happy Fathers Day to all! Hug your Dad if you still have them, or think of them if not. Today Im wearing my Dads hat for coffee. I found it all dirty and smashed up when I cleared his house out. Dissassembeled and deep cleaned, and reblocked and stretched from 6 7/8 to my 7 1/4. Cut almost 2" off the brim and flattened the brim ( took some of the cowboy out of it). Put on a new hatband and voila! I had a wearable Justified tribute hat with some sentimental value
A bit later than usual the hats of the week.
A birthday present that came late for last Sunday, when I celebrated my birthday. I'm going to enjoy these.

Good morning.
My morning soiree was taken under a Gannon with gills.
Arriving home I changed to an unlined Stetson Playboy. I enjoyed some cold brew coffee in the hot and humid morning.
For a couple errands I changed to a vintage Champ "Original Panama."
I changed to a Supernatural Milan while starting the grill. This milan is a "King" of milans as it is so darn well woven and has such quality materials. I am being careful not to wear it to an early demise. It is clearly Supernatural.

That's fantastic, Rick! By the time I was old enough to fall in love with fedoras, my dad had disposed of all of his and wore only flat caps or golf caps. I rue the loss of his good felts, every day!

Champ Lafayette in Charcoal Gray got the nod this morning. I especially like that it still has the original price tag of $ 8.50. While not the fanciest hat in my collection, and the back bow isn't my favorite...I'm trying to have a nice variety from different hatmakers.
The national news is all about a heat wave sweeping the country but here it is 35 F and we have a winter storm advisory. That’s okay, I’ll take a Grizzly to go pick up some charcoal and ribs for today’s Dad’s day bbq.

Terrific hat and it wears well in your backyard. Your hat showcases the USNPS "trademark crease." I am going to use the pic of your hat to change the crease in my relative of your USNPS hat. My brim and crease require restorative effort.
