Thanks for the input! Any thoughts between the Mercury and the Enfield? The cut on the Enfield seems more forgiving; but it also looks more purpose built for riding, which I do not do. The Mercury looks more simple with the lack of action back and side buckles, but that waist taper is scary, haha.

I know the Arrow is particularly narrow sleeves; any experience with Enfield or Mercury?

I tried on a Vanson Arrow and I noticed that the sleeves made it difficult to bend the arm completely since it kinda bunched up at the joint. Was this due to the Arrow having narrow sleeves or due to the thickness of the material?

Personally I value comfort, so having a bit more room to play with is welcome. Never been a fan of skinny stuff, but I do worry that I might lean too much in the opposite direction, which can look unkempt.

Of course, I can see why someone would appreciate the armor-like qualities of the stiffer leathers. I haven't had a chance to make a purchase, but personally I quite enjoyed goatskin's softness and scuff resistance from playing with the samples. I know it's not the most popular choice though.

Vicenza's pretty great. Honestly out of the samples I got the only one I didn't like was CXLHH, too stiff for my liking.

Have you considered ordering some leather samples? Getting a feel for the different types of leather offered might help. If you want something that doesn't need break in.. maybe their soft grainy steerhide? I quite like the sample I got of it but I don't know if there are things that are only...

Have you checked out Goldtop? The 1958 and 1959 seem to fit what you want and you can still use them to ride if you choose to.

Do you own any bracelets? It might add balance to wear one in your right wrist since the left one has your watch. I'm not the most versed on style suggestions though so take it with a grain of salt.
