    Custom Belt (32)

I wore one of those back in the late 80s when I was stationed in Spain. Made by a local craftsperson and purchased while visiting Madrid for the weekend.

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

Not a duck walk repair. It can be repaired, but I rather replace the male side of the zipper or replace both zipper sides. The lining can be replaced with a nice red fabric nylon. I would take the challenge if the jacket was my size and $150 dollar cheaper.

    Vanson! Vanson! Vanson!

Fake mouton. But you can make your own. It is not very difficult. Black is no longer produced in a quality finish in America. I have seen some blacks moutons from Pakistan, but I have seen them turn into a greenish tone. No bueno, that is why Americans do not produce it in black anymore...

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

I have the very same production jacket in russet. The hide is good. However, when we review LW, there are many aspects that make LW a superior jacket. First off course is their hide. However, craftsmanship and fit are superior to most companies. Lastly, the materials used such as thread...

Vintage Outerwear: Threads of the Past

Love your jacket, T. I have seen samples of that cape skin used with the jacket. A Ralph Lauren follower on Instagram has one in mint condition. I will post images when I find them. I also had a close up in color image of Kurt wear it at the statute of liberty. As you know, that movie was...

Replacement Zip-In Zip-Out Leather Jacket Liner

I hardly wear my jackets with the removable liner. I have made many in my time. Branded Garments made nice products. For the money, their products were a bargain. It is hard to see them go. You know, they sell many items at eBay and Etsy. I purchased several top of the line wool knits for...

Vintage Outerwear: Threads of the Past

The clothing industry is a keen observer of trends and materials ready available. True capeskin probably was extremely difficult to obtain due to the location of the beast, lol. In true reality, thin, soft horse was expensive and in comparison to regular horse such as the horse being produce...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I am still in the market for that jacket in my big but 44 size. I still have my two originals I wore back in 1981 and later in 1988. They are in great condition and truly one of the best café racer style jacket. Just a step above Cal & Bates.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Here is my view on this two different jacket. There are four details that I can point out. Apart from the hardware, the zipper is longer on the pocket to the right.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I love the jacket. It is so very nice! By looking at your images, I came to the conclusion that your jacket does not have TWO side pockets, as I thought it did. At any rate, your jacket is wonderful and looking forward to your upcoming images. I am a big fan of HD jackets. I do not own your...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I have that same one in the image above. I also have 3 more different cycle champs, including the Elvis. I think the one he has is very different. I could be wrong, however. Many times in fact. LOL.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

What a jacket! Love it. Can you please share some images of the back and the center lining? Or as many as you can? I have never seen this HD before.
