Pete, this is my Walter Dyer jacket. It's very heavy, 6-7 lbs and for a Walter Dyer, leather is very thick. Natal grade hide, though...

Get a seam ripper and gently undo the stitches at the bottom of the liner (along the back) then re-tack the edges...a pretty simple...

Just be careful. As mentioned before too much Lexol can give you the white bleed and sometimes can be difficult to remove or stop. HD
