I live in a place where the temperature can swing a lot in a day, and I also tend to run cold and so I’m trying to find the sweet spot where I can wear the jacket across various temps but still stay warm enough when it gets cold. Thanks for your thoughts on this!

What makes VIcenza, sheep and goat warmer leathers, in your experience? Would you consider Badalassi (or other cowhides other than CXL), deerskin, or other horsehides (not CXL) to be warm?

Here's mine in brown CXL FQHH on a cloudy day. It's my first proper leather jacket and I love it! I've been wearing it about a week and it's breaking in nicely.

Those are both beautiful colors. I really like the two tone brown and the cordovan from Rugged West. I have a fit jacket coming from Thurston Brothers for a Premier Highwayman (inspired by your two PHWMs @MrProper !) in Chestnut Badalassi so I'll get a chance to try that out. In the meantime...
