I have wandered the world, never settling for long enough to hang up my hat. Lived last in the south african bush, working as a safari guide, before that a hiking guide in Maui, and still before that a jeep guide in the desert of Arizona. I was a chef in the caribbean, and wrote a novel and some good short stories. Now I live in Austin while saving to move back to Maui once again.
