Yes. Liquid mink oil. Not the paste type. A very liberal dose. I poured it on, and the leather drank it up. The boot was completely saturated. Allowed it to dry. Then brushed it.
Oil on brand new shoes. It's just what I do. I'm not the only one. JK recommends it for their boots.
These are described as an oily nubuck. The manufacturer treats them with leather balm.
I'm not a fan of suede, nubuck, and roughout. Not that I don't like the soft nap and texture. I do. 1 too many experiences with blood, BBQ sauce, motor oil, and other things that cannot be cleaned out. But for the price, One Forty Nine USD, I bought it anyway.
