Let's see em!
There's a Hemp Stratoliner thread but not a (Hemp) Open Road thread.

I want to pick one up... I'd love to see some pics!

There aren't many non-promotional pics on line of people wearing one.

Thanks!
Troy

Coincidentally I just received mine today. I think it'll work fine. It seems like it will breath easily in the 100°f heat this summer.

Rog, the OR crease looks good on you. I'm not sure you always believed it, though. Do you like the finishes on the hat; in regards to the sweat, feel, weight and such? For the money, I'm ready to jump as well. The heat and humidity here is about what you get and I'd like something that doesn't fold up like a bandana at the end of the day, and one I didn't fret about.

Thanks for the compliment on the cattleman crease. I think I was more apprehensive of the brim up aspect. I think brim up with the sides curled look better with the cattleman than snapped down. Once I tried it I really liked it. In fact I just recreased my grey OR to a cattleman. It looks great.

I think the hat is fine. It's light and looks like a breeze will definitely be felt through the weave. The brim's wide enough to block some sun and the price was right. I don't have to worry about sweating it up. It's got a nice, comfortable sweat band in it too. I did a little tweaking to the brim with steam to get it the way I wanted it and it responded evenly. For the price I think it'll be worth it. Time will tell.

I wonder if they intentionally made it that way or if QC was on vacation
On tolerances there's an old saying in the structural steel fabrication & erection business:
"We measure it with a micrometer, mark it with a paint stick & cut it with a hand torch."

In the US now structural steel fabricators who want to be ASME certified must drill all connecting holes whether threaded or not; the holes can no longer be punched. But on fabricated structural steel shipped in from countries like China, Taiwan, Vietnam & Turkey they can't seem to locate the holes properly so they are allowed to punch slotted holes, allowing enough slop for the bolted connection to be made. Remember that next time you go up in a high rise building.
