There’s a jacket that I really want in Minneapolis, but the seller is a classic cash only, no shipper.
I’ve got $100 USD for you if you’ll snag this thing for me and mail it my way (I’ll pay for the shipping too obviously)
Cheers,

Late 1950’s Langlitz Cascade, confirmed by Scott at Langlitz as Horsehide after handling it when replacing the main zipper.
This is my best jacket. Heavy, solid, and functional as a riding jacket, but with amazing vintage details. Beautiful and even graining, beautiful tea core, no flaking...
Did you know that there used to be Indy 500 racing in Canada? Here is a really cool and iconic nylon racing jacket, but with a Canadian connection. Beautiful shape, M/L size
This jacket has cool patina throughout and is pretty light, which is why I think it could be sheep. All the zippers are good as is the liner. It would have had a collar and zip out liner but those are long gone. It’s a perfecto style jacket, but I think it has a whiff of aviator in there too...
Pretty cool and somewhat mysterious find yesterday. 2 matching vintage nylon racing jackets for a Indy 500 team, but made in Canada. Lots of cool details, and in great shape. I've never been into these before, but they fit well and are very cool. Just thought I'd share.
Very clean vintage half belt with great details. Beautiful grain variation throughout. Jacket has been relined at some stage with a nice red check flannel, and the liner is in good clean condition. Original Lightning Zips (main and pocket) and the slider is mounted on the left (UK/Can).
The...
Beautiful Straight Zip Cal.
Original Serval main zip, ring pulls on the pockets. Really nice and supple, but substantial. Very horse like graining.
23.5 P2P - After wearing it bit more I realize this wears like a 42 regardless of the P2P
19.5 Shoulders
19.5 waist hem (mid way tight laces)
25...
After trying for weeks to convince myself that I could maybe be a 38 and maybe make it work on the bike, I have to admit defeat.
Unfortunately, this beautifully rare jacket doesn’t fit quite right and I am not one to keep jackets that don't fit if I can help it. . Wanted to offer this to the...
Likely going to pick this up as I like it, but I'm at a loss as to who could have made it. Looks kinda like a Bates, but liner is wrong, as are the shoulder pads shape. The throat closure is right though. Anyway happy to hear what you guys think.
Unfortunately, this beautifully rare jacket doesn’t fit quite right and I am not one to keep jackets that don't fit if I can help it. I’m not necessarily in a hurry to sell and if I can’t get a good price I’ll be happy to keep it even though it’s not a perfect fit. Wanted to offer this to the...
Some lucky Junkie will get to find out after stealing mine out of my car, right out of my driveway!
I'm sure the dealer will appreciate the original zippers and the perfect liner. The thief will likely get a bigger rock due to it being horsehide.
A lot of people will say that society is...
Okay this one is kind of interesting..... Mouton in the sleeves, collar shape are very Cal, but the liner is not. I've never seen the diamond pattern before in a Cal, and these diamonds are more vertically stretched than most.
The front drop is pretty severe, no belt band, no side laces. I...
Catch and Release - Mainly because I know that someone here will be happy I did.
I'd conservatively call this an 8/10, and only that because of some wear to the male end of the main zip (pictured). Beautiful condition and clean inside and out.
Original #10 Serval, no gussets, no epaulettes...
This is my first dedicated post like this, so bear with me.
I thought this one was worth documenting before finding it's forever home. This is a Northeaster Flying Togs Horsehide Police Coat. I'd say it was un-issued, but there are holes where the badge was pinned on which further pushes back...
Hello all,
Wondering if I could ask one of you fine people in the USA if you'd consider acting as a proxy for me in Canada for a jacket I've found. I'll hit you up with the shipping to Canada via PP FF and send enough extra for a bottle of wine :)
Cheers,
M.
