    FS Vanson Model B - size 36

Hi, I am interested in the jacket. The outer leather looks good from the pictures. Can you confirm there are no cuts in the leather please and the zip works fine? The sleeves look slimmer than the regular fit, which is not a bad thing, is that the case? Would you be able to ship to the UK...

    Vehicles owned by Outerwear members?

What excellent taste. As a serial Caterham fetishist I find they are hard to get out of the system. There again, in terms of analogue cars with bank vault like build quality that gorgeous 993 is the ultimate. Enjoy.

Love the boots, would you be willing to ship to the UK? Many thanks

Advice wanted on Simmons Bilt B-6 jacket

I have three SB jackets and can only speak as I find, but I have found them to be excellent in quality, fit And value. In fact my latest SB jacket, in the heaviest black steerhide I have ever handled, is my favourite jacket I own. Dealing with Debs and team has been a pleasure. Definitely worth...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Breaking in my new Black Bear Brand x Wesco collaboration. Really love these, although it may take me a few years to get them to look like the ones they show on their website - great stuff and the company are a pleasure to deal with.

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Wow, they look good. I think you are right, the last and comfort are key. I like the profile of the Wesco boot as it has the flatter toe profile without the more bulbous steel toe cap bulge, but I know some prefer this on the grounds of comfort and practicality. The long and short of it seems...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

I know what you mean, I still can't shake the feeling that what I really need is a lovely pair of Role Clubs and then I am done, but then go and spend ages drooling hopefully over the Wesco discounted pages.

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

I have to confess I have never tried Redwing engineer boots or Chippewa, but the Sendra needed the addition of an insole to make them feel more comfortable than a rigger boot, but can't fault their durability. They are my regular motorcycle boot in all weathers so I would rate them highly as a...

Which of your jackets gets the most attention?

Strangely the one that seems to garner the most attention and comment is the one I feel the least confident about wearing, an Aero bootlegger cross zip in cordovan steer. My leathers tend to be black motorcycle style but this later cxl steer seems much more vivid, shiny and lighter weight than...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Just thought I would add my reflections as a serial engineer boot wearer for going on 25 years. I still have my first pair, a beautiful Tony Mora boot which has seen many a winter motorcycling but always one up like new. These were joined by a pair of Sendra's, but it was the more recent...

Wesco black tie domain vs teacore

I recently ordered a pair of the 7400 model as surplus stock from Wesco in the black domain leather and I have to say they feel positively indestructible. Really impressed by the quality and comfort, so much so that I am constantly scanning their website even though I am sure these boots will...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Yes they are, but the 7400's are narrower and the shafts too are slightly narrower. They are also an inch taller. There are still some on the Wesco site, seem to be some more posted recently in size 9's if that is any good - oh, and a size 13.

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Just thought I would add my musings over the various engineer boots I have owned over the years having just taken delivery of my favourite pair so far. I was lucky enough to purchase from the Wesco surplus stock page a pair of their 1940 style black engineer boots and I am hugely impressed...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Excellent choice Insomnia, I love mine. Interestingly though, and I think it has been mentioned on here before, the boot shaft width was quite different between the left and right boots which meant getting the left one on for me was quite a work-out initially (although it could be that my left...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Navetsea, your designs are always superb and you have such a cool, imaginative style. Regarding sizing, I am a 8.5 in a Redwing, 9 in a Lofgren and 9.5 in a Wesco Boss. The Lofgrens are superb and their attention to detail seems second to none, particularly when you look at the Donkey Puncher...

    Chicago Recommendations

Just wanted to say thank you to Ton, Bushman and everyone else who provided such helpful advice regarding places to visit in Chicago. We have just returned and loved every minute of it. Wicker Park and it’s unique shops and coffee houses was a favourite, but the recommended architectural boat...

    Chicago Recommendations

Thank you all so much for all your suggestions, really looking forward to it now. It certainly looks like a hugely interesting and varied city. Given the dire weather warnings it sounds like perfect jacket hunting conditions.

    Chicago Recommendations

Dear All I wondered if I could pick your collective brains? I am planning a trip for my wife and I to Chicago early next year and wondered if you had any recommendations about which shops/places should be on our visit list. I am very much in to my leather jackets, jeans and engineer boots etc...
