Does anyone know of a hatter who can reconfigure the crown on a Panama hat - would like to convert a regular style crown to an optimo shape - I think Optimo hats used to be able to do this, but I was recently advised that they only work on hats that they made nowadays....
That was a bummer to find out - Optimo used to repair, clean, refurbish any hat but found they only do the ones they make now....Is there anyone out there who can reshape the crown of a Panama hat? For example - changing a c-crown or porkpie to an optimo shape??
Ok folks - I have a couple of offers I am considering - prefer to get the asking price though. It is kind of uncommon to find another hat in this combination of style, size and condition - I have only tried it on - never worn it - and I don't think anyone else has, either. I would like to keep...
Here are a few more taken in the sunlight - the bright parts are truest to the actual color - will try and post some clear ones of the inside of the hat, closeups of the lining, labeling, sweatband details, etc...

Here is a very nice G-1 flight jacket in a large size - I am not good at dating these but my guess is probably 60's or 70's - has standard looking USN Bureau of Aeronautics tag but does not have the USN perforations in the wind flap as you often see on these.
Not sure whether the reddish...
Here is a pair of super nice paddock boots by notable American maker Allen Edmonds. This style is called the "Promontory Point" and is indicated on the insole. Color is what I think used to be called "London Tan" - kind of between russet and light brown, with a pebbled "Scotch grain" leather...
Another nice lid up for sale (thinning out the hat collection for the New Year). This one was made by Borsalino for Worth & Worth, in a nice medium shade of gray.
Nice, flexible felt with the soft hand that Borsalino is famous for. Interior is nice - lining nice and clean and leather...
