Perfect 1940's-early 50's Mallory Fedora - Appears Unworn - 7 1/4

Here is a Mallory fedora in a great size, and perfect condition. I cannot find any blemishes or flaws on this hat, and have not been able to bring myself to wear it. Color is not quite as light as a Silverbelly, but not quite dark as a tan or fawn - somewhere in between. Moderate-width grosgrain binding on edge of brim, and russet band. Size is true to label - I am a 71/4 and it fits me perfectly. Leather sweatband still supple and everything is intact and clean - no evidence of sweat, head oil, dust or any wear at all. Comes with original box, which has a bit of water staining on top, but is structurally sound, with a pic of what appears to be Beau Brummell or one of his contemporaries. Brim with is 2 3/4", crown height undented is approx 5 3/4". Cost is $200 shipped anywhere in the USA.

i posted pics of the hat first - couldn't get the one of the box to load.... Can you not see them, or are they not good enough??

There is a heavy blue tint to the photos, so the color and details are tough to discern. At least on my monitor.

Also, more photos would be better, showing the underside of the brim, etc.

Ok folks - I have a couple of offers I am considering - prefer to get the asking price though. It is kind of uncommon to find another hat in this combination of style, size and condition - I have only tried it on - never worn it - and I don't think anyone else has, either. I would like to keep it but kind of can't bring myself to "deflower" it - I am in the Army and only get to wear my civvie hats off duty.

If no further interest by tonite, I will accept one of the offers.
