I think I’ve invested as much time and effort as I am going to in refreshing this battered 60s Montgomery Ward. I’ve conditioned it, fixed a belt loop and a zipper pull and de-harleyed it. Replacing the main or sleeve zip would be more than the jacket is worth, but I think it’s a lot of fun as is!

Any sightings of this MW label yet? Some of the images in @tmitchell59 second post aren't showing up so I’m not sure. The ‘genuine leather’ makes me think it’s a later steerhide jacket but I’m just guessing… Ideal zips and an odd ‘ice cream’ one if that helps! Realllly want to take a stitch...

The jacket I am (not) wearing today! Swing and a miss, but good to know that however much I like a burgundy cafecto in photos, I do not in fact love wearing one—this is one of the hundreds by Wolf Leathers floating around. It’s too roomy around the chest, but I also don’t think the colour...

Waiting on this rather tired Montgomery Ward with an unfortunate tramp stamp. Not sure if brown or just heavily tea-cored. Probably a bit of a project jacket if it fits me.
