Just bought this Aero seal Leather A2 jerky horsehide from stock. I bought one A2 in 38 (which is my usual size, especialy at Schott US where it always works) last year. But it was a little too tight and one inch too short. I managed to sell it for the price I bought it. And I bought this one...

I agree the 588 is the best compromise. The 688 has sleeves way too short, the Aero is too tight...

I also think this jacket is too small for you zipped. If I were you, I would sell it and try to find the same one in 40 . I know it's a pain, but that's the way it is... I agree with the person above who says that around this forum, a "good" fit is often a very tight fit to my eyes... Just...

White leather does not interest me, but I should mention that most of the recent made in Italy Levi's leather jackets (like this new one) i own are very good quality, especially for the prices, which are very often heavily discounted at one moment or another of the year. But the made in India...

@ jojothenorthstar I owe a recent Schott 257, their famous civil B3, that I bought around 2019, and it must be noticed that it was sold new, hand-vintaged by their factory ! Maybe the one you bought was this way too and it is why it does not look brand new. It is just a matter of style and...

As far as I am concerned, the sleeves of a jacket must end from below the wrist bone up to the start of the thumb. Your sleeves are short, but not too short and still look stylish.

Definitively not a made in usa jacket ! It looks 100% like a LC jacket not made in USA, from Schott Europe. Especially the inside... Someone has messed around with some tags...

I keep all of them on my (many) Schotts... In everyday life, it is much more pleasant to use it than manipulating the metal zip itself directly.

The Vanson is too short in the front. Too bad, because the rest is great. The Aero is good as far as the fit goes :)

I own a brown leather peacoat from Schott USA too which must be around 30 years old. It is a super robust coat. Like many of Schott Jackets, the fact that so many of them from 40 or 30 years old are still around in very decent condition is a testament to the durability of Schott jackets. But...

In the Bob Aldrich's political thriller "Twilight's Last Gleaming", there are many M65s around. Most notably worn by Burt Young and by the Man : Burt Lancaster himself ! I have noticed that they are worn more tight in this movie from 1978 than in more recent movies from the 80s etc...
