I ride up until they sale the roads here in upstate NY. (usually November) I usually ride down into the high 20's unless there's been snow or any kind of moisture...I've hit black ice and had the bike slide sideways and didn't like the feeling. So I try to refrain from riding unless it's dry...

unfortunately I can't say I own a pair, but a gentleman I know had a few pairs and recommended them highly. he was a logger back in the 60s/70s and wore everything from Chippewa/Redwing/Wescos, etc..so I took his opinion seriously.

Dragged this old post out to ask if there's any update on the Grafter boots. I was thinking about buying either those or the IMAC derby dealer boots and having them shipped from the UK to the USA. figuring it will be around $100. Do you think they are worth it? I can't seem to find anything...
